Succeed at Work details all you need to know to be a great employee as told by Texas employers and workers.

This magazine's topics range from your first day on the job to making plans to resign, and everything in between. You can see the complete text for yourself by looking at the chapters here, including "Acting Self Employed," "Starting a New Job," "Living a Balanced Life" and "Enjoying Your Current Position." The centerpiece chapter, "Being an Excellent Employee," lists all the qualities and behaviors workers need to succeed, including customer service, communication and a good work ethic.

Also available as an adjunct to Succeed at Work are activity cards for the What Would You Do? game, which presents sticky situations new employees may encounter, including gossiping coworkers, befuddled supervisors and more. The game is a great tool for teaching students how to balance integrity and tact at work.
